There is another special day like Valentine's Day in Korea. We call that day 'White Day." White Day is on March 14. It is just the contrary of Valentine's Day. It is celebrated as a lovers day, with the giving of gifts and flowers, between couples in love. Legend also says that Saint Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, during he was in prison, and signed it "From Your Valentine". The day he died February 14, 269 A.D., had been devoted to love lotteries.
