In Greek mythology, Eros was the god responsible for love, lust and sex. He was also worshipped as a fertility deity. Eros in Greek means romantic love and in ancient Greek means desire. In Freudian psychology, Eros is the life instinct innate in all humans and referred to in terms of Libido or Libidinal energy.Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is refered to Saint Valentine's Day. There were two Saints attributed to the naming of this day. Both Saints were imprisoned and killed for being Christians. First story is that one of the Saints wrote a letter to his jailer's daughter for her kindness and he signed his letter 'your Valentine'.
Many stories tell us that both Saints died on February 14, which in Roman times was the night before a festival called Lupercalia and probably somebody got attached to the modern day celebrations of Valentine's Day.
Today, it is a day to tell people you love them and exchange Valentine's cards.
