He came to this earth so that the lost and lonely people of the world could experience the Kingdom of God. And he died for our sins so that we could be reunited with our Heavenly Father in this life. And he rose again so that we could be united with God for eternity in the life after.
God's standard for love is the ultimate act of giving one's life for the one that is loved. Christ's love for us is the example that we should look to in all our relationships. It should define how we love our spouses, our children, our parents and our brothers and sisters in Christ.
